You may not be receiving an allocation but they have been increasing their price. [rofl.gif]
What’s the price history? I know 14/15 didn’t increase. 16 went up a whole $10.
$150 at the start. The price increased to $165 for 14/15 and $175 for 2016.

I look at how much prices for wine have gone up over the last 5-10 years and I say that this is great. Wine prices have gotten ridiculous and to me this is the best news I have read in a long time. plus 100 there is more juice in the world than ever and the quality is also better than ever cheers

Never had SQN Syrah before but have been wanting to try one. These are all available for <$300 on a reputable site. Anyone have thoughts on which to try for drinking in the next 6 months? Looking like I'll be leaving about 30 tons out there when it's all said and done. A split between Pinot and Chard. What would I do if winery X came to me with an offer of 50% of what I sold to others? No way. I won't give a bottom feeder ultra quality fruit and an unfair advantage in the market and...

To me hostage mailer is "buy everything you are offered or future allocations will be cut." The most severe instance is where they throw you off completely. Of the lists you mention, Alban is the only one who is a hostage mailer. You don’t really need to be on Alban to buy their wines at around release (unless one gets a big 100, but post Parker that’s even questionable). The other lists will let you buy what you want without punishment. Robert please ...
