dude can't believe you had an Allemand tasting in Chicago and didn't call me. I have case quantities of Reynard. Had an 89 over the summer before the Stones concert and it was rocking. Hands down my favorite Rhone producer.

great report, Also great to hear about the Giacosas. Is the wine you reviewed a red label ? Kens sight seemed to indicate none made this year but maybe I got it wrong ? I've seen a couple of reports indicating it was red label. Our local distributor is listing it as Le Rocche de Falletto.

My only problem is the late releases I suspect will b heavily marked up. Also I noticed Mugnier Amoureuses jumped in price once the Musigny was held back. The Amoureuses then became the top dog.

partnerships brake up for many reasons. Mostly because the partners start to disagree too much. In my humble opinion, it's always dangerous for a chef to proceed without a solid FOH companion.
