My local Costco last night had a ton of Cristal at $219, but it all seemed to be 2009. They had 2006 and 2008 LGD, and I got one of each. Also had one I've never heard about - Piper Heidsieck 2002 "Rare" for around $135.

Another issue is it was shown that wine that showed no apparent taint prior to bottling developed the problems after bottling. The chemical enzyme may have been present but it was thought insignificant - so now I assume people may err on the side of caution.

I have AIG - link to broker through CT. Fair price and coverage - unless I overlooked exclusions, policy includes coverage for cooling unit malfunction and broken bottles (including earthquake). Coverage for $70,000 is about $400/year.
