Of the easy to find but less known ones, really like Carmichael and Buchignani and Mill Creek (?), didn't care for East Bench or Boatman or Hooker.

I strongly prefer the Donato front room over the Donato back room. I love Divino, the Donato front room, Sole, Yuzu but the food is a tough match, West whatever I loved but that was my first time with this group. Park and Howard was terrific but $$$$

Absolutely. This was controversial a few months ago at a tasting, really awkward and playing peek a boo. I thought it was clearly a racy terrific wine that needs ten years just to be normal.

Just opened the 2012 after the secondary fermentation marred 2012 described above. Beautiful and fresh and complex but it needs time for the gentle oak to integrate. Big but perfectly balanced. Wait five years.

At the Magnum party last week someone brought a Clouet Magnum and I easily preferred it to the 2009 Dom Perignon. It needs to have chill though.
