Nola,

its the same cake. At Mallorca they don't use the cross of the Santiago order on top, I guess.

As you know the island of Mallorca is famous for the almond trees, so no wonder that they make an almond cake or almond soup etc.

P.S. of course Rösti is a classic side dish to Zurich Ragout known as Züri-Gschnätzlets (Zsur-ē-Gshnetz-lets) in Swiss German dialect. A veal ragout with a lot of cream and white wine.

in general roasting vegetables in the oven or with a pan gives new dimensions to vegetables. In spring/summer I roast fennel bulbs on very high heat until dark. Such delicious due to the sweetness which emerge by roasting.

And don't worry, the lemon peel and juice will fool you, despite the high amount of butter the sauce feels light on the palate due to the freshness of the lemon. P.S. Normally I make homemade Pappardelle (200g flour + 100g Semola di grano duro rimacinata + 3 eggs), but I had some leftover pasta and I was lazy. So I used this pasta, just 6min cooking time. Really perfect with the sauce.
