I'd never try this. I would think even if it does add oxygen, heat from the motor of the blender might not be a good component to add to the...erm, mix.

I've only ordered with them once, which was recently, and it went smoothly. But, seeing how their website UI looks very similar to Wine.com, if there is indeed any affiliation, I'm not surprised they dropped the ball on your order and customer service.

I missed the event, but my wife and I gave the wine a try last night - really good! How are they selling it? Do I need to get on No Girls, or will it have a separate list? Apparently will be offered to the No Girls list starting with the '18 vintage...not sure if more of the '17 will be available.

In general it's a good idea to find the critic whose taste most resonates with yours. Some gravitate towards bigger cabs and thus score that style higher, some prefer more old-world style ones and score accordingly. If you have a few bottles you've reliably enjoyed, I'd enter them into Wine Searcher...

Looks like the marathon is still going. Amex offers have $30 of $100 - wish I would have known that yesterday! Just grabbed some Antica Pinot to make use of the offer, it's Napa Valley, so we'll see how it is.

Popped open a 2015 Bedrock Monte Rosso Zinfandel the other night. After an hour and a half decant it was beautiful and pure, dark fruit with a line of red fruit energy humming through the middle before giving way to pepper and spice notes and a hit of acidity. A knockout winner with grilled tri tip.

We did a grilled Santa Maria style tri-tip last night and paired it with a 2015 Bedrock Monte Rosso Zinfandel and a 2015 Ramey Napa Valley Cabernet. Both were delicious and drinking well now, but the spice and acid in the Monte Rosso proved to be the superior pairing.

2018 Turnbull Napa Vally Cabernet Sauvignon

Young, but I was attending a zoom tasting/chat about another 2018 Napa Cab that I definitely didn't want to open yet so had to call an audible. With 2 hour decant it's drinking nicely and a very solid QPR for Napa.
