The tower is from maupets.

Re: Recommend a Mini-Series
I think all of these have been mentioned but a couple of our favorites: Money Heist on Netflix. One of the best series I have enjoyed Midnight Diner on Netflix. A great show to unwind with, not a lot of action but Interesting characters. Kinda of a Japanese “Cheers” Dectorists on Amazon. Another sh...

We agree on most Cab's and red's from Rhone. We differ on Douro (my fav), and she likes her tempranillo's, rioja's, carmenere's and malbec's.

Re: 2021 Under $15.00 Wine Thread
It may be my favorite wine under $20.00. Niepoort 'Twisted' Tinto 2019 @ $12.95 https://www.empirewine.com/wine/niepoort-twisted-tinto-2019-i39446/ Import costs truly are a drag. That's a 5€ wine over here. Tell me about it. There was only one local place to me that carried it, and it was closer to...

The outdoor games this past weekend were fun to watch. It was a beautiful location. The only bad thing was the 8 or 9 hour intermission in the game on Saturday.

Kenji's version is amazing. We've made that one several times.Jorge Henriquez wrote: ↑February 22nd, 2021, 7:09 pm Martin, next time try the Serious Eats recipe and see how it compares.
Also, never seen the cilantro sauce be made with feta or mustard. Odd.

Re: St Pete / Tampa Recs
Last one for this thread, possibly. If your into cheeses, these are my 3 go to places. 1) Trywine (St Pete). Really nice selection of meats/cheeses and the best wine selection of the bunch. 2) Bacchus Wine Bistro (St Pete). Good selection of meats/cheese, best desserts/cheesecake of the group, decen...

Re: St Pete / Tampa Recs
Keep these coming as I'll be a St. Pete resident in the next couple years. Pretty much anything down Central Ave for casual places. My favorite of that bunch is Lure, but it becomes more of a singles hangout after 8pmish. Tryst is my favorite along Beach Drive. DR BBQ's is really good and it's by t...

Re: Why sous vide?
I’m not understanding why you guys are sous viding prime steaks. Reverse sear > sous vide for anything that doesn’t need tenderization. The grade of the meat doesn't determine whether or not I sous vide something, but the type/cut of the meat does. Somethings needs fire/smoke and somethings don't.

Long time lurker, first time poster. I don't know what I can add to this place, but it should be fun.

Re: Goldbelly experiences
I suppose I shouldn't be surprised that everything at Franklin's is sold out. You probably have to line up at your computer even earlier than at the restaurant. Not sure of Franklin's, but they also carry Snow's. For Snow's, they open their own website @ Monday @ 8am and it's gone by 10am. I would ...

Re: St Pete / Tampa Recs
Another late reply to this one. I actually prefer Rococo Steak in St. Pete (nice wine list), and another fancy place is Maritana Grille at the Don Cesar hotel. If you are just looking for a glass of wine, head to Try Wine.
