I live on the Hudson right across from nyc in NJ. A lot of people will get a hotel in Jersey city or weehawken and take the path train or ferry over. It’s a quick ride, and hotels are much cheaper Of course, then you'd be in Jersey In case you haven’t noticed, everyone from NY is moving to Jersey.....

Wine travel is a biggie. When wife and I explored Napa/Sonoma, we instantly became wine “snobs” and signed up for various library memberships.

2022 would be a safe bet. Vaccine roll out is slow, and COVID is mutating. I’m sure at some point international travel may require a vaccine passport to show proof. In the mean time, a negative test 72 hrs before departure will be a requisite to avoid a 10 day quarantine upon arrival

We use our Vinturi at byo restaurants since we will be drinking the wine quicker than we would at home. We always get looks because of the noise it makes but the improvement in taste is worth it

There are various Marriott properties on Turks and Caicos including a Ritz. The island has amazing beach, water, locals are friendly and awesome barrier reef for snorkeling
