Re: They really do exist...SQN

This is probably a dumb question for a number of reasons, but is there a particular SQN red that those who have had many would recommend as a first one to try? I know the names change each year so it’s hard for the uninitiated to figure out where to start. Obviously it needs to be one that is at le...

I still have five of the six left, so I will bundle them up and set them aside so we can try this again in a few years. Justin, if you have an '01 Bone Rock Magnum, you can join us, and bring that bottle with you, for a complete re-do!

Saxum Rarities

Last night a group of us got together, with the goal to find and try the rarest Saxum wines. We had: the "01 Bone Rock out of magnum, which is supposed to be a different wine than the regular bottling, and only 100 made; '02 Broken Stones, which Saxum lost a bunch of in the earthquake; both the '05 ...

You can interpret things with an assumption of good intent, or poor intent. Knowing how the Krankl's operate, I have to interpret this letter assuming good intent, and with that perspective, I appreciate the message.

I am not trying to argue what is legal, but what is right, to me, relative to the topic Jay raised. If the question was: is it legal, then we could shut the discussion down, and move on. And, of course it is personal, and therefore subjective. My personal point of view might be different from other's.

I think this is not as black and white as some people would have it be. I like Jay's articulation of when it is ok to sell, and when it might not be. I will add: there are people who have allocated wines from very coveted wineries shipped directly to brokers. In these cases, I think, for me, this cr...
