Re: FEAR/ WINE
According to the Google search it talks about most of the people with oenophobia mainly having it because wine contains alcohol? I guess that in some respects that would make alcohol the culprit. So whatever the solution might be, we could eliminate a good portion of this phobia if we find a way to ...

Re: Your cellar's core strength?
My collection is definitely dominantly California Napa/Paso Robles, with a little bit into Oregon and Washington. I don't think I have more than 2-3% of my bottles from outside the US. I hope to expand it, I just don't think I know enough about European wines to go and purchase. So my cellar is defi...

Re: French Wines - Where To Start
am looking for some bottles in the $40-$100 range from recent vintages to try and in particular I am interested in trying some wines from Bordeaux/Burgundy newhere. I am based in Australia so while there is a good selection of producers available, if it is more obscure it may be hard to find and th...

Re: Wines to buy/hold
I have a few bottles of Moone Tsai Howell Mountain, I think it's right in your $120-140 range.
Silver Oak and Turnbull wines are also great and on the lower end of your price point. I should be keeping most of these for 5-6 years at least and then seeing where they go from there!

Re: What do you want to try in 2021????
Wow, a lot of great specific bottles being posted, I'll have to look some of these up now! For me, 95% of the wines I have are from the Western US, so I think I'd have to say I'd love to start trying European wines. Of course I've tasted here and there, but I don't actually own anything from France,...

Re: Millennials and Wine
Kind of late here, but definitely a really interesting topic, something that I have been thinking about. I'm 25 and didn't really get into wine and alcohol until about 2-3 years and I now have a 100+ bottle "collection" (nothing probably compared to all of you), but I have slowly been intr...
