Hi Todd, do we pick the bottles in the Mixed Medley Sixer or is it just a random assortment?

Re: Millennials and Wine
Online is the number one winner, hands down, given all that's out there. Even in a LWS, people (all + millennials) fact check prices online for "new" wines, so there's that. Its just a broader canvas to bounce your opinion off of and costs nothing. I would agree with online as the key met...

A big batch of jambalaya makes for easy meal prepping. I’ve been following this recipe (this site has quite a few other handy Cajun recipes):

Makes sense, it is nice to have either option. Thanks for the info!ybarselah wrote: ↑
i only use the manual mode as it's easier for me, but I imagine the shot volume/time is a user setting.
the drip tray comes out and can easily be washed.

Re: DC Restaurants
+1 for Peter Chang in Arlington, always delivers high quality food.
While on the top of Arlington, I also recommend these for takeout:
Boru Ramen (south Arlington - Columbia pike)
Pho 75 (courthouse - Wilson Blvd)
Sawatdee Thai (courthouse - Clarendon Blvd)
Asahi (next to Sawatdee in courthouse)

Re: Coffee maker recommendations?
I've had multiple models over the years and it's clear they are very committed to this vertical. very solid cs and obviously buying from amazon makes it zero risk. I think I’ve used a “lite” version of this one most recently where the espresso will brew after turning it on, then continuously brew u...

Re: Coffee maker recommendations?
several breville espresso machines are $100 off on amazon FYI: https://amzn.to/3754xLx Nice find! I am still using an Aeropress (+ the Prismo filter attachment from Fellow) but this would definitely be an upgrade. I like the Aeropress enough and it turns out to be great for any travel too. I guess ...

I’ve been trying to recreate a white pesto pizza I had at a restaurant here and think I’ve finally got it (the restaurant is Rustico in Arlington, VA, sadly they switched out pesto for basil and it isn’t quite the same.) I use a base recipe and usually don’t have pecorino romano cheese, so just rico...

Wild turkey rye is pretty good, granted that I make cocktails (old fashioned) more than drinking it straight.

Re: Cold Weather Shipping
Not necessarily too cold, but keep in mind the large number of packages during the holiday season makes things a bit more risky. FedEx also has a warning about more heavy packages being sent right now due to covid. I’m waiting until early 2021 to ship anything to let things calm down a bit.
