Pretty impressed. I was in the mood for a big jammy Zin and this certainly is not that. Much more in the bright red fruit spectrum, but still very good. Will have to order a couple more bottles.

I believe the law/rule for labeling an AVA on the bottle is 85% of the grapes have to come from that designated AVA. I searched “bowl shaped vineyard Howell Mountain” on google and Hershey Vineyard (VASO cellars by DANA winery) was the first link. The WineAccess description says it’s a single vineyard designate as well. Looks like you guys nailed it. Lucky me for getting these as a mixup for the Oakville/Napa vers...

Definitely a mistake to open this one tonight. This bottle is far too young and needs several more years to come together. Even with 3 hours of air, this one is pretty unbalanced. The acidity is too high, but the structure and tannins are there. This will definitely improve with time, just far too ...

It must be a different wine altogether, as there's a separate COLA and a different appellation on the label.

Just received more bottles of the Yesterday wine. The back of the label says "Howell Mountain" but I thought this was supposed to be an Oakville wine. Did the original run of the Yesterday wine say Oakville on the back? I don't have the bottles from my initial order with me at the moment.
