Took the plunge on some 1855s and XL cloth. I’m probably going to regret not getting some Libertes.

I just received as a birthday gift a couple Zalto universal glasses
just the placebo effect is good enough for me to think they make a difference!

Finally came across Booker’s Country Ham 19-03 from last year. Had it once and loved it. Popped open the bottle as soon as I got it home and it was even better than I remember.

Anyone try Act 8 Midwinter Night Dram? I've only been able to get one bottle and gifted it to a friend. Local place still has Act 6 bottles for $170, which is what they sold them for at release, and they wonder why they didn't get any new allocation.

My vote is for Sigalas. When I can find it in NY, I'll stock up. Usually have Atlantis on hand as it is a crowd pleaser and I feel like the best entry into Assyrtiko. I agree on Argyros being the best value. So... The question is for the best value Santorini, you say Argyros is the best value and y...

Which Costco in CO was it? I might have to call in a favor to a friend out there.
Costco in Oceanside, NY didn’t have any. They did have the Kirkland Red Blend which is tasty for $10.99.

Great recipe. Key is to get as much liquid out of the zucchini as possible so it really gets crispy. I like to form them before dropping into oil but this works too. ![[thumbs-up.gif] [thumbs-up.gif]](./images/smilies/thumbs-up.gif)

I’ve been debating signing up for a while. I’ve been reading Rajat Parr’s book and really enjoy his take on different producers. I’d imagine I’d get more of that on Vinous. I find enjoyment hearing about the stories behind the vineyards and hearing about up and comers in the industry.

Drizly might be a good option as you can just search the wine and see if places that deliver have it. Otherwise there are some solid sites already mention. Flatiron wine and Astor Wine are good bets. Empire State of Wine has the Heidsieck magnum for $85 plus tax and a delivery fee. https://www.empir...

Verve Wine but they are only open for curbside pickup or shipping.

Today's wine is Virginie De Valandraud Saint Emilion Grand Cru 2016 for $40.
I had it this past Saturday and really liked it. It isn't very complex but I think it has more time to age. Very good wine at $40 vs the $60 that we purchased at.
