Re: Sunriver/Bend OR recommendations?

Thanks again for all the suggestions. We DO have SHARQ passes, so I'm sure we'll use those heavily as well.

We have a large enough group that we don't all have to do the same activities at the same time--one group can go off and do one thing; another group can do something else.

Sunriver/Bend OR recommendations?

I'll be going up to the Sunriver OR area with my family, and we could use recommendations for things to do, places to go, things to see, where to eat, etc. Since Bend is just up the road, I assume we'll make at least 1 or 2 drives up there as well. Yes, the label on the 1994 looks artificially "old." Perhaps photocopied several times and then roughed up to look older. A properly stored bottle of 1994
should have a nearly pristine label.

This has been one of my go to dishes for years. I don't add the cinnamon. I do add a small bit of maple extract to the potatoes along with mashing with a bit of heavy cream and butter. Mashed sweet potatoes with maple syrup/chipotles

A friend passed this along to me; I've made it twice now over the Thanksgiving holidays. It's super easy, but you'll want to taste and retaste the chipotle levels to make sure you get the right balance. You want the spice/smokiness of the chipotles in the final blend, but you don't want them to take...
