I dont think it matters what way ultimately but atheistically i think it looks better cork in. Personally I do a lot of Head/Tail Tail/Head due to having some fatter Pinot Bottles and this allows them to fit. Couple of fatties one way and then skinnies the other way.

FWIW Back in May there was a similar mixup with word vs image in a wine i was interested in buying. By the time they got back to me (~10 days later) they had sold out. They said they think they put the wrong image up. I would think the person who sources the images sometimes grabs the wrong specific...

From my research, they are mostly the same. However, I've also read that "beverage" fridge were designed to operate at around that temperature while dorm fridges were made to optimally be operated at closer to 40.

Now does it really make a difference between MTBF in the two types? Shrug.

Is $2/bottle a year standard? It cost me $0.75/bottle. 12 case for $12 or 15 case at $20 a month.

I have a small fridge for convenience and will probably keep my offsite since cost are so low

I know the artevino goes on sale a couple times a year for $2000. Ambient temp recommended for that is 32 - 86 so probably okay in a garage. Personally I bought a tiny 29 bottle from best buy for $150 and have an off-site for $12/Month (9 case). If/when that best buy dies I might swing for the artev...

Hi Elisabeth I was looking at that model but I don't think that would fit your needs. The manual states that ambient temp should be 60 - 77.

There's the Vinotemp that states it can be left in Garage but its 300 bottles @ $2,499.

If you want to go the opposite of high-end, I just opened up a smallish locker (9 case) 3x2 for $14 a month at Life Storage in Torrance. Not 24hr access but 5am - 11pm i think with keycodes into the facility and into the actual wine storage area. You then put on your own lock.

Dave, fwiw I remember Wine Access Amex Deal was expiring sometime in September or the end of this month (I forgot as i used all 3x of mine already). They could not be allocating anymore till the next cycle ... just a thought.

I don't have much experience in this space but Foillard is the name I see most often associated with a good producer in Beaujolais. I recently opened a BV 2017 and it was still delicious.

Jean-Michel Dupré from KL is something I enjoy that's cheap and goes quickly.

If a wine was rated by WS that means it had to be bottled, labeled and submitted to them. He doesn’t buy bottled wine, right? Some Reviews are from Barrel. In theory winery could decide not to release this into distribution for whatever reason & CH just takes it, bottles it, markets & sells it out.
