Not wine but... YAMA 8-cup Cold Brew Tower Coffee Maker - $100 - REDUCED

Not wine but I figured someone on here might be interested in my used Yama glass cold brew tower . Excellent for making cold brew coffee with slow drip extraction. Functional and served as decoration on our counter when not in use. Retail price on amazon is $260. Asking $100 plus actual cost of ship...

SOLD - Weinbox Modular Wine Storage System - 23 Boxes

I have 23 lightly used Weinbox's for sale. I purchased these new two years ago, assembled once and used in a wine locker. They retail for $18-20 each from Domaine Storage and I am selling them for $12 each plus actual ground shipping cost. I will disassemble prior to shipping. Local pickup available...

On a recent trip to Singapore I was lucky enough to try Nikka 17 Taketsuru at the ExciseMan Whisky Bar. The bar has a tremendous selection of Japanese whiskeys and is worth a visit if you find yourself there.

Re: Japanese Whiskey

I thought I'd go buy a bottle of Hakushu and see for myself. Oops. That's a great pic! Hakushu of any kind has become hard to buy in the US. The 12 and 18 used to be relatively easy to find. If you watch the K&L feed you may see the 12 show up there. I can’t say if it’s worth $100 but it is good. I...

I grabbed some cans of Smile Medication IPA from Hop Dogma Brewing last week for NYE. Excellent double IPA and a nice change from all the Hazys on the market. Highly recommend stopping by this place if you are in Half Moon Bay area.

Re: Which Champagne are you drinking?

Agreed, for me the flavors of older champagne don't improve or compliment sushi well. While I agree with the generalization that most "older" Champagnes aren't the best match for most sushi, everyone has their own definition of what constitutes "older". For me, 1995 and younger Champagne generally ...

1999 Moët & Chandon Champagne Cuvée Dom Pérignon: It was our 20th wedding anniversary yesterday, so my wife and I drank this. I really don't know how to evaluate it. I think the trick to a good importing business is to sell everything pre arrival at really competitive prices, then go try to find it later to import.

Family favorite of the whiskey pours during the holidays was Glenmorangie 14 Year Quinta Ruban. Not a rare or hard to find bottle and a crowd pleaser for sipping or cocktails.

Equal parts Ardbeg, yellow chartreuse, homemade raspberry liqueur (instead of Maraschino) and lime juice.

If you haven't tried it Drumshanbo Gunpowder Gin is worth a shot.
+1 This is my favorite gin, especially with Fever Tree Tonic.

Another great Irish gin to try is Dingle but that's harder to come by.

I think a combination of on and offsite can work well. Just toss stuff you won’t regularly access in the offsite. +1 for this approach.
