2005 louis latour nuits st George village. I was hoping it would be awesome since wine.com has them on sale right now and I am into the coupon trickery. So far, nose is muted and flavor is super tart/acidic. Smooth tannins but fruit has largely faded. Maybe more air and a bit of time open will help...

On WB there is consensus that 2011 is a bad vintage in burgundy. But these charts (and Robert Parker) show 2011 as being not that bad (and better than 2012 and 2014).
Any tips on how to read and rely on these charts?

This is "helpful"! In other words, you are all a bunch of enablers and I am easily led into temptation. That said, I think those big wine.com deals can be exceptional, especially if you focus on wines that are offered at pre-discount prices that are not much higher than from other online retailers....

Envoyer has some good drinking burgundy wines. Internetwines.com has good prices on 2016 Bordeaux that is tempting.

Yeah Giscours! That was one of my aha wines (2000 vintage) that made an impact on me.
