Thanks for posting Jeremy. Got a 3 pack I ordered en primeur at some attractive pricing. AG's note was very similar to yours. I'll probably give mine a few years. I've only had the 14 Vajra BDV but I loved it. I'm buying some of the best 12 and 14's to drink to keep me away from the 16's.

Robert- Bob is still the owner but they have made it difficult to get folks on the phone. Not sure why other than some changes due to covid and I think their volume is up quite a bit. I'll send you Bob's email. He is usually very responsive and I think he would hate to lose you as a customer.

Great notes Kelly. We did Coq Au Vin in August in Banner Elk. It was like fall weather in the mountains. Matched it with 08 Bachelet Gev Village. Your post on coq au vin dinner was the inspiration. Great match for Burgundy.

None at all David. I sometimes pick up that note with American Oak. I didn't taste oak influence on these at all but attributed the fleshy silky style to their oak regimen. Correct they won't be making any wines for 2020 but they seem to have quite a library of wines and since so much of their inventory goes to fine dining restaurants they continue to release older wines at what seems like wholesale pricing. $35-38 for their top end library pinot's are a fantastic deal...

Jim- I haven't opened any Cru's yet but Scavino's will probably be the first I give a whirl. Their base Barolo was very open and on the fleshier side. funny these were impossible to find and now they have popped up a few times. Under $100 should be close to regular retail here in the US. I got a few at that price and some more at $119 a bottle. Northeast and West coast had many of the top names. I just purchased F. Allesandria from Woodland Hills....
