Bummer that they were forced to close, especially since now we at least have some semblance of a light at the end of the tunnel. Tried the UWS location a few times, but don’t think the food on t...

Not sure why you put the Larmandier in the category of wines I don’t think will be that good . In my experience they always deliver. Harlan, on the other hand, which I don't drink that much, and when I do it's usually the Maiden, tends to be all over the place. Sometimes an experience as you descri...

2000 Pichon vs Cos

Tasted the Cos D'Estournel 2000 against 200o Pichon Lalande, and I have to say both are vastly different types of wines. The Cos was fantastic, while the Pichon took some time to leave the gate. The Cos is drinking very well right now, and I think that the Pichon has not yet established itself perha...

Anyone try Latour or Haut Brion recently? Not that, but I have had Lafite twice over the last couple of years. Not sure how they pulled it off, but the ABV is sub-13. It's a powerful wine by not a high alcohol wine. I liked it a lot but it does not have the refined elegance that Lafite normally sho...

Chinn Vineyards Petit Verdot

Just got an offer from COHO, that they are bottling a 2016 Petit Verdot. Anyone have any knowledge about Chinn vineyard or a single Petit Verdot from another producer? Note: I know it is not 100%, but at 87% it is darn close.

Many thanks
