I've bought probably 10 cases of wine from K&L auctions in the past year. Haven't had a bad one yet. Bought quite a bit of older (10-20 yr old) Bordeaux, have been very happy with them.

on and off site for sure. if you are trying to age a bunch of stuff, then offsite is for you, especially if you are buying current vintages. Keep the stuff at home that you may drink in the next year or two, and move all the rest to offsite to rest peacefully. I keep only 20 bottles of red at home, ...

So they can stop selling the wines now rather than later. Buying will slow, and customers have a memory. seems like it's a good way for the retailers to see if people are willing to pay the higher price before they commit to replacement stock. RWC had 2009 Mouton today for $740. Had a few other new 2016s in a new display case, like Lynch Bages. Quite a few 2009 Dom, with a handful of 2008 (at the bottom of the pile, have to look for it).

Seems no one has jumped yet at the handful of large formats they have (6L Giscours etc).

The US is blocking appointments to the WTO. And it sounds like if they continue to do so, the WTO will be unable to issue rulings past the end of this year. Thats happened to me before. They shipped me 6 bottles of the wrong rioja, and fixed it the next day. I felt kind of bad since I now had a free 6 bottles, but I suppose it would have costed them more for me to return those bottles than it was worth.
