While I understand adjusting to this too, we're finding ways to bridge the gap. Join a Zoom event, heck, set one up and get people together if you are not already. It's not the same as being in person with people you love to drink with and sharing wine, but this isn't an all or nothing scenario her...

To the lawyers

Can't one go to small claims court sue them and ask to pay the difference between what they charged and you having to source the wines for a higher price. Cost is minimal They will not want to hassle with this

Don We just got back. Almost all restaurants allow BYO 20-30 dollars. One caveat they do not allow open bottles so do not decant ahead of time.
