Fiddler on the Roof closes early January. It's in Yiddush, but they flash the English so you can follow along. It's a small venue, so even the cheaper seats are good.

A friend of mine brought the '09 to my annual Flyertalk wine dinner at North Square in NYC. I really enjoyed this Champagne. Jay, do you think this is less costly in London? I'm headed there in the spring.

Another Wine Fridge question

My daughter-in-laws sister wants to get a wine fridge. She's asking for an opinion on Ovation and Wine Enthusiasts. Any thoughts? She's interested in an under cabinet, or free standing unit. Can hold under 30 bottles.

If you're in the Hamptons, Stone Creek Inn is the place to go. Corkage is $35. They offer a set menu all Thursday night $35 for 2 courses. On Friday it's offered at the first seating. In Berserker-speak, it's a 100 points.

If I recall, they have a set menu available on Monday. See you Monday 10/21 in Chappaqua with a California Cab that doesn't suck.
For anyone asking, they don't pressure you to buy off the list.

If you ever have a chance, stay at the Carter Inn in Eureka. Great place. Gracious host. Wonderful food. It was the only place I've done a wine pairing that didn't disappoint.
