There are not very many things that can go wrong with an old food processor. In my case the plastic latch mechanism on the bowl broke, and the replacement costs more than I can justify given the price of a new unit - the weakest link in the system. We get our BGE REALLY hot! Actually hit 1100 degrees once. Hard sear on both sides, then cool off BGE and cook to temp. They're perfect!

Not sure why, but post-ferment lab samples of taint from Cab on the floor are showing no more than you get in any other vintage. Not just for me, but everywhere and everyone I know. Cab seems to have less than Zin and other varietals. Also, press wine shows no difference than free run. None of this...
