2012 Chateau Bouscasse Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh 'Les Jardins' blanc - going on nine years old, still fresh with no oxidative note. Green hay color in glass, nose and palette of subtle honey and herbs de Provence. Wonderful wine, pairs great with savory leek and mushroom crudités.

OWC is a work of art though.

I have been a buyer since Andremily's inaugural release, and have loved every vintage of this Syrah.
The Mourvedre is great, the perfume on this wine is really out of this world.
And if you get a chance to try the Rose, it too is outstanding!

Overwhelming nose of menthol and eucalyptus, palate very thin and acidic. This wine has pretty good reviews, I was surprised how bad this was. Would a spoiled Barolo give off this kind of profile?

Thread drift, but what OWC can you just not bear to throw away/firewood/etc.? For me, these have just become part of my office decor:
- Next Of Kyn
- Bond
- M. Etain
- Third Twin

And then there was the OWC for Fairchild’s Stones No. 1 - that box was built like a piece of furniture.

Macdonald and Greer. Realm is pretty available at retail here in Twin Cities (except for Moonracer, Absurd) - I stay on list for Fidelio.

I've been on the mailing list since the 2008 vintage (which may have been their first commercial vintage?), and I have found Greer to be consistently outstanding. I look forward to this release every year.

Maze Clew SB is really good.

North of your price point, Realm Fidelio is really really good.

This summer we have been enjoying Landskroon CB from Paarl, stainless fermentation and 13% ABV - medium body and decidedly crisp, and an outstanding QPR at $10.99.
