Let me add best crabcake is from Woody's bar in Dewey Beach. That said, given its zero atmosphere and otherwise mediocre food, buy the cake uncooked and bake at home. A bargain for $17 and just lots of Maryland jumbo backfin with no filler. I've tried others around the area and it remains numero uno.

Also look at Rehoboth Hotel. A nice Italian restaurant is located there as well. Several people have stayed at Canal side Inn and liked it. RB is a very walkable community in general.

We have been to Rehoboth a few times. It is ok. Water is too cold - it is at all the Delaware and Maryland beaches IMHO. Give me Kiawah, Hilton Head, Savannah Beach, etc. But, to be honest, I am not that much of a beach person and like Kiawah and Hilton Head better because of the golf. In the ocean...

I tried the WP 12 year rye last night and wasn't impressed-pretty coarse with an unpleasant finish. Pinhook Rye much better and less expensive.

We were in Dino's Grotto last night enjoying a few bottles on their corkage free night. Very sorry that it's closing as I have enjoyed many offlines there. Getting a good meal at reasonable prices continues to be difficult in Washington.

Jim, you may already know about them, but B-21 online and near Tampa has a pretty good wine selection at very fair prices and a flat rate $12 shipping at least in FL. My Genesis still going strong after many years. I have replaced the original grills and flavorizer bars but everything else is original. Charcoal is great but being able to heat the grill in 10 minutes is very handy in a busy world.

Never any issues with SWA when I've checked wine;they only care that it is securely packed. They do require you to sign a waiver of responsibility so I have them place FRAGILE stickers on the box.

Stone crabs are the only food I will go "all you can eat". Billy's stone crab is a favorite in Hollywood Beach, FL;many, many crabs consumed there. Otherwise, there is no better crab than Maryland blue though I prefer a crabcake. Woodys in Dewey Beach, DE is my current favorite.

GE was great when we recently returned from Mexico to BWI. The FA warned us two other international flights were arriving simultaneously so we should rush to beat the lines.
