Kerry, I believe 16 different bottlings of 2019 Falkenstein Riesling were imported Into the US. NYC seems to get them all, we got 8 here in Chicago.

I would second Brian's point that the most valuable part of Vinous is the discussion forum "Your Say". I'm also a Vinous subscriber, but rarely make use of "Your Say." Not Many good wine movies I know of and while not really a wine movie but drinking movie Withnail and I is a classic British comedy. the line “we want the finest wines available to Humanity, we want them here and we want them now! “ makes me laugh every time.

I am a fan of Julian Haart Rieslings and have been buying what I can last couple years but man a $90 Kabinett ? Stopped me in my tracks, guess I have to adjust to get my head around the 2019 pricing.

Dave I have used it a bunch of times, sometimes they just say thanks, sometimes they drop the price, sometimes they send me a small coupon for something, sometimes they say yeah we know we’re good where it is.

I opened a 1990 this week that was stunning. Same complex and alluring nose you are referring to. Palate was black Raspberry, clove, cedar, warm spices and earth. Evolved over a few hours, floored all of us drinking. We’re not Bordeaux experts but we all preferred it over an 88 Petrus.
