I think there are a lot of good suggestions on here and I'll add one more based on what you seem to like -- Lagom (made by Torrin) Spanish Springs Vineyard Chardonnay. It's really great if you like rich (but still balanced in my opinion) Chardonnay.

I haven't had this wine, but if you have the time to enjoy it over several hours, I think you can decant it for sediment and immediately start drinking it and follow it as it opens up over the next few hours. I just had a similar problem. Poor customer service guy couldn't do much right now because their software is still messed up I guess. For now, I just memorialized that regardless of this recent shipping error, I still expect to receive the bottle I ordered after it's shipped on the agreed upon date ...

I'm definitely noticing the effect of tariffs this year, and I'm sure the lower yields don't yelp, but German Riesling is still a great value (at least from what I've seen of my usual suspects [Haag, Lieser, Schaefer, Zilliken, and Donnhoff)]).

I've never had the Falstaff, but a few notes on CT claim that the Cab Franc's presence doesn't especially shine through and it seems more like a Cab [dominant] blend or at least not necessarily Cab Franc dominant Bordeaux varietal blend -- agree or disagree?

I think the Myriad Napa Valley Cab might be the best value (and just great) Napa Cab, so I'm not shocked by Jeb's 94 (plus, while I think I have similar tastes as Jeb, he does seem to give out high scores fairly liberally).

The SQN/Fingers Crossed/etc. reviews are coming out on Monday I think. It certainly is more helpful when the reviews come out before the wines are released. I was very happy to see their Riesling reviews before those wines hit the states and even before Mosel Fine Wine reviewed some of the wines.

Maybe call the restaurant (and don't mention your reservation or that you're coming) and ask if you can bring in a open bottle of wine because you have to start decanting it before the restaurant's open. A lot of restaurants by me don't care.

I believe that while the total amount of acidity remains constant, the acids can change as they combine with the alcohol to create esters, and your perception of the acidity may also change (likely you'll perceive the wine to be less acidic to a point).
