I recall the halcyon days of the early and middle 1990’s, when 1982, 1985, 1985, 1989, and 1990 Bordeaux were inexpensive and not economically worthwhile to counterfeit.

Building a collection then was a casual effort, which turned into a small fortune.

Thanks, All. Victor - that's a great idea. Will do that. I think it has something to do, like Brian said, with a combination of the fact that it's an electric cook top and gets crazy hot. Also, I often preheat dry pans with nothing in them, so that could add to it. I never go from hot to cold quick...

My suggestion is to buy a case of standard bottles. Otherwise, if your one single big-format bottle has any damage, loss, or taint problem, you will be left with nothing.

Rudy Kurniawan was released from prison into ICE custody yesterday (November 6). He was taken to the ICE El Paso detention center. A screen shot from the ICE website is below. The ICE website lists Rudy's country of birth as Indonesia. It is my understanding that Rudy will be deported to Indonesia....
