We had a late lunch on our arrival in Beaune at La Buissonniere and enjoyed it. A lot of other places were closed since it was around 2 PM. Small, casual, very local fare. Friendly, not too expensive.

I have a '96 which I pulled a Coravin splash to see how it was and was definitely not holding up as well as this '91. Pretty thin and flat. Haven't had the interest to pull the cork on it after that.

I gotta say, I don't understand all this fuss and hoopla on this board over 1-2% ABV in wine. The difference in alcohol content between 13.5% and 14.5% is 7.4% more alcohol. So taking 14.5% wine in 7.4% smaller sips or drinking a glass of wine over 32 minutes instead of 30 minutes will give the same...

The MH has got to be one of the best deals going for that vineyard.

Does anyone know if the Reserve is the same as the Moulds reserve ($95) of the past or is this new?

Thinking of keeping it light since I went all in on Napa ‘16s, maybe a 4 or 6 pack of Cabs heavy on the Napa Valley for value.
