Re: SF Bay Area/Peninsula OL February 18 - Sole

Summing up - that was the finest OL I can recall. Kudos gents.

My fav was the 1998 Domaine Georges Mugneret-Gibourg Bourgogne, thanks for bringing.

PS: Thanks Dan for bringing the strainer too!

Would a regular metal wine filter work?
Hi Dan, I'd appreciate if you bring that!

Hello! Any theme in mind for this dinner?

Also, Sole is the restaurant in San Mateo, right?

Looking forward...

Re: Official Costco Thread

Here's a good Costco story/win for ya. I made my weekly visit (I have 2 young kids) to my favorite location here in Phx and, per usual, did a b-line to the wine section. Nothing really new or exciting, but I did see that they just got in multiple pallets of Dom Perignon in single-case boxes. Took a...

Re: Anyone using Weinboxes?

Price seems to have gone up recently, FYI.

Currently $159 + $26 shipping for 9 via Amazon.

Two weeks ago it was $135 + $26 shipping.

Well-built product, seems robust - so far so good!

Re: Drink that shitty wine night for Laura's House/Falltacular 1/11/19-1/13/19

Great idea! I’m in. I will be regretfully drinking “Fonda Real” “White wine” - product of Spain, no vintage given.

It was part of a biz gift basket received for Christmas 2017, so I’ve been stalling for over a year trying to figure out what to do with it.
