I don’t think so. I’m just starting to fill it up. Only about 60 bottles in it now and this happened on a shelf that only had 7 bottles on it.

Eurocave shelves question

So I’m having issues with my eurocave. Some of the shelves kind of fall of the track when it gets to the back making it impossible to roll the shelves out smoothl and having the bottles kind of dip has anyone had problems like this before?

IIRC Tychson Hill and Cariad in the fall (September-ish) and IX and IX Syrah in the spring (February-ish). Thanks for the info. Do you know the release prices of those two, ballpark? If you have to ask....check out the auction market for these wines. You can often get them close to original release...

Colgin is a stalwart in the Napa cult wine grouping. Almost all of the Napa cult wines have changed some over the years, increasing ABV and depth of fruit. Most will age very gracefully over 20 years. Most need aging or lots of decant time so I am curious what vintage Colgin you had at the restaura...

Had an interesting conversation with a somm friend who recently led a tasting of Kbs from both the 2007 and 2017 vintage. Ceritas and Aubert are not at the same price point as one another.
Ceritas Chardonnay runs 65, Aubert about 80 and KN was 72. Pretty much same price point.

This was probably my first list and one my first introductions to “higher end” wine. Had one of their Chardonnay tonight with dinner and can’t belive this is at the same price point as a ceritas or Aubert. Been slowly disappointed with their Pinot as well. May no longer be a buyer of their wines

Admitted Mike Smith fanboy since trying Mryiad and Quivet. Have never tried Carter and thinking of getting in for a few bottles. Should I just pick up 3 of the O.G or spread out the purchase.

Probably should’ve mentioned that. Bordeaux, Cabernet, Pinot. Although my favorite wine of the year so far has been an Aubert Chardonnay.

So my wife and I got married in 2017 and I wanted to buy several bottles of wine that we can have from 2017 at anniversaries down the line 5,10,20,25 etc. any suggestions. Max per bottle is around $500 but would not want to go to the max for each. Thanks

Had the Round Pond tonight with dinner. It was amazing, decanted for about 3 hours and wow. The dark fruit, spice, great acidity and smoothness in the mouth. Definately going to be in big on Myriad in the future.
