Pierre Girrardin is the son of the retired Vincent Girardin and I think 2017 is his first vintage . At restaurant Atomix in NY , I tried his Puligny Montrachet Folatieres . I was really impressed : a very mineral chalky wine with nice present acidities , some florality from Puligny , great length ....

It was my understanding that frequent temperature change is not good for wines. Especially if it is fluctuating 11-12 degrees. It is probably changing temp every 30 mins or so. That is correct. I reset my thermometer 2 hours ago. within the last 2 hours it has gone from 59 to 47 degrees. My eurocav...

Lots of confused posts here. If you are ordering for delivery in Belgium then you pay Belgian VAT when ordering. To what country are you ordering? Not sure about the details but if you order within EU then some retailers seem to be able to apply VAT (+excise duty) applicable for the country of delivery/sale. From my experience drink now or within 5 years. A friend opened a magnum of 2010 Honig Bartolucci vineyard bottling that seemed well past peak. I think these wines are made for early drinking
