Re: Vintage 1979 Perrier Joulet Fleur de Champagre Sparkling Champagne $550

Ok so I guess I could've paid a little more attention to how and what I was saying. I guess that's kinda important. So I figure since the bottle hasn't been available for some time, and here one is all ready to go. It's worth the $550 based on what I've been able to find. Yes I've seen a quote for $...

Re: Vintage 1979 Perrier Joulet Fleur de Champagre Sparkling Champagne $550

So I understand this bottle, this vintage has been valued at $1,550 on winesearcher however it's not been available for purchase. With the buyer being responsible for shipping, and honestly I was hesitant to do anything other than a local pick up, I will sell @ 10% lower than wine searchers suggest ...

Re: Kansas City Metro, amazing food on both sides of the state line

Visited a nephew who lives there a few weeks back. Nice city, great food. Crazy state taxes, even for a Californian. Airport is quite far from the city, but hey, in San Diego, the airport is smack downtown. I have flown in and out of San Diego many times and never get used to looking out the window...

Re: Kansas City Metro, amazing food on both sides of the state line

And my favorite in Kansas City - Joe's BBQ in a former old gas station is literally, other worldly... Oklahoma Joe's started in a gas station and still has that first location. Without looking it up right now I believe they have a total of 3, 2 locations for sure. There is also Arthur Bryant's on M...

Re: What BEER are you drinking?

I just moved back to California from Kansas City Missouri. The local brewery there called Boulevard Brewery has a fantastic unfiltered wheat that I became very fond of. A couple years back the local owners sold it to some Austrian folks and so far they hadn't changed the recipe. Once a year they do...

KC and food? Yeah sure. Whatever you say. You really have no problem showing your complete ignorance do you Gary? Kansas City is one of the greatest food cities in the country - and pretty famous for it as well. And my favorite in Kansas City - Joe's BBQ in a former old gas station is literally, ot...

Kansas City Metro, amazing food on both sides of the state line

I moved to Shawnee Kansas in 2010 to chase a romantic dream. That last part is only relevant because the woman I went to be with is a well known restaurant manager that has worked at some incredible eateries. I was lucky recipient in so much as I afforded the chance to eat some very good food. Has a...

Grilled some beautiful rib-eye cuts. Thick and grilled to perfection, because I have grillin' skills. Fresh steamed broccoli and red potatoes chopped with olive oil and fresh rosemary. A nice cab for me and merlot for her.
