It’s a great topic, but we don’t need a poll. For me it’s just as much (maybe more) about the experience than the juice. Drinking the wine with the winemaker, proprietors creates a level of nostalgia evoking good memories when you open it at home in the future.

From my visit back in February, these were standouts: -Theorem (new winery on Diamond Mountain, TRB is the winemaker. If you're into Napa cabs, you might want to try scheduling an appointment and tour+tasting at Crown Point. Adam Henkel formerly from Harlan is the winemaker. It's an amazing private estate and facility and tours and appointments are weekdays only. It sure is nice in that area after all of this rain...

Monte Bello will increase in value from club price and sometimes double or triple or more depending on the vintage. Their club discount is significant. I agree about Monte Bello. Sinegal Napa and Howell are very good QPR. Personally, the reserve is not worth the extra money, but that’s my opinion. Overall, extremely solid wine. Recommended

Sleeping Lady and Las Piedras Vineyards...tough to go wrong with either. Benoit gets a bit overlooked. Kata and Jack Quinn are amazing Cabs as well. Grab some 3packs next week when it opens.

Kirkland hit a home run with the Stags Leap. The oakville was good as well; however, the Rutherford did fall short. It’s not “terrible” if you put everything in context. If I’m at Costco I probably buy a few more Knights Valley inlieu
