2003 Pavie. It's . . . not my thing. It isn't OTT so much as it is just not very appealing to drink. Drying tannins make it pretty coarse going down. If it were $20 a bottle it would be inoffensive. It isn't $20.

I think it's interesting to look back on Parker's big calls in his last few years at the helm - most of which have turned out to be highly debatable.
