There are approx 500 cases of Reynard and 500 of Chaillot produced each year. I'm thinking prices probably aren't going to moderate anytime soon.

Spent the last week with the Liberte and Cru. Amazing stems. Champagne and Liberte are a winning combination, and the Cru bowl size is ideal for both red and white Burgundy. I had a pretty hot love affair going with the Zalto Burgundy glass, but the Cru outperforms it in my estimation.

I bought a case of '15 H-N Bourgogne at $26, and, honestly, I felt like I was stealing it. Tremendous value and really delicious bottle. I'm hoping to be able to leave a few to see how they develop.....

I own the Zalto Bordeaux and Burgundy glasses, and find them incredibly elegant tactilely and superb in concentrating and presenting the wine's aroma. Hard to imagine anything could outperform them, but I might have to give GGG a shot.

I just had the '14 a couple of weeks ago. Another WOW wine. Even the "lowly" '16 St-Aubin Le Banc I had the other day was fantastic. Super extracted, with that almost oily texture that I can't get enough of.

The '15 Hudelot-Noellat Bourgogne Rouge is delicious and drinking nicely right now. I plan to spend the next 5-7 years drinking through a case. Just had the '16 de Montille Bourgogne Rouge last night, which was also a lovely wine.

I was the other end of the Dujac trade mentioned above, and it was a first for me. I got to know C Fu, which was great, and got a bottle I missed out on upon release. Maybe time for a "Swap Meet" section?

2010 Arnaud Ente Clos de Ambres - $165 per (only two available, sigh)
2012 Pierre Damoy Chambertin (9) and Chapelle Chambertin (1) - $99 per

Haven't tried the Ente's yet, but the Damoy Chambertin is stunning.

I have also wondered why California/Bordeaux/Rhone and other wines routinely get 99-100 point scores, and red and white Burgundies never seem to. As the above poster said, there appears to be a different scale being applied.

"This has to do with New York right? They aren’t allowing shipments out?" That is my understanding, based upon a conversation with a NY retailer who is holding wine I purchased earlier this year. There are workarounds, apparently. What is no longer allowed is to ship wine from NY State to California...

I have 28 very gently used Weinbox's for sale. I purchased them three months ago from Kogod to use in a wine locker, assembled and used them for a short time, and then a larger, racked storage unit became available. They retail for $15 each, selling them for $10 each plus actual ground shipping cost.
