We just spent a couple of days in Paris, mostly following recommendations from this thread. We arrived the first day 2 hours earlier than planned (had to change trains due to the strike), so we had time for lunch on the first day, which was not planned. We went to Caves Legrand since Willi's Wine Ba...

Research restaurants in the town she studied in, pull up their websites, look for wine lists, and try to see if you can get the wines by the glass. I would guess that would be like the cheap stuff she was drinking. Bon chance!

I would look into self storage. That seems quite high cost per bottle/magnum. I pay about $0.85 average per bottle per year and that's in the SF Bay Area... But then, it's not super convenient.

Not sure what you mean by this... It's just like English, Riesling Feier means "Riesling Party" and Feierriesling is more like "Party Riesling", which probably suggest a lower quality, quaffable bottle of wine...

Thanks for the recommendations! I'll definitely look into Lenoir and Bufalina!

Jeffrey's wine list is not pricey, it's an insult. $150 for a 2017 Foillard Corcelette that I paid $31.50 for is borderline criminal.
