The 2000 Lanson BdB is really nice and well worth the $60 I paid a few years ago. The Noble Brut was just ok.

I have never tasted an Ultramarine sparkling wine, but are folks here saying that these wines are comparable in quality to a similarly priced or even lower priced Champagne? Would I be fooled in a blind tasting?

PSA - If you do end up in Harper's Ferry obey the speed limit and 'obey' means do not go 1 mph over as it is a speed trap nightmare. As others have suggested VA wines are super overpriced for the quality and I would not recommend driving any real distance, especially as lot on a holiday weekend. You...

Yikes...the Roederer and Lahaye are $80. Well, the question was favorite rather than best QPR :) I've paid as little as $60 for the '06 Roederer but that was a while ago. I also enjoy the Evangelho, but for my palate all of Morgan’s wines improve significantly with mid- term aging (5-8 years).
