This weekend my 26 year old daughter claimed my kitchen is now her test kitchen. The last 3 or 4 times she's come down, she's led me through a new recipe she found.

My father couldn't cook but his kitchen was my test kitchen. It feels great to share the kitchen with my daughter.

I made reservations at Flemings and Le Vallauris. Does nayone have a recommendation for a wine store. I looked at Total Wine's web site for their local store. Lot of wines listed as out of stock or unavailable. Any other good options?

I have cooked some sort of beef roast (prime rib or tenderloin) for our holiday dinner for years, everything from roasted, grilled, smoked and in our wood fired oven. It seems to me that Napa businesses have to provide efficient transportation from less expensive neighborhoods or pay higher wages.

So in regards to the OP's question, maybe the answer is that it can't. Perhaps agricultural preserve and tourism is not a sustainable combination.
