Besides my regular zin faves of Turley, Carlisle, Bedrock.
Mauritson, specifically their Rockpile offering and Storybook in Calistoga make solid zin juice for under $50.

Absolutely. While I enjoy a nice buzz now and then, like others have said, if I wanted to get drunk/buzzed, tito's would do the trick nicely at a more wallet friendly price. I heard snorting vodka is a quick way to get it into the blood stream too. Stains teeth less too. [snort.gif]

In for the gamble on the Mystery of the Mysteries. Hopefully Jon wasn't pulling a fast one here. In any case I have plenty of friends and family who love to drink this style of wine so if I don't enjoy it, someone else will for sure. In for a couple cases.

Rubissow Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve Mount Veeder Napa Valley 2016. Doesn't even look like it's been released by the winery yet and is normally aged in barrel for 24-28 months in barrel. Odd. In for a couple anyways.

Is this a 5-6 hour bender and everyone drinking heavily? 2 cases for 30 people would be overkill for most parties. Unless it is strictly heavy drinking guys, I would think 15-18 bottles would be plenty for a mixed crowd.
