I don’t like wineries “tying” the 2018s to the 2017s. But it’s a one-to-one ratio (unlike in old days you had to buy something like 6 bottles of Kistler Chardonnay to get one bottle of Pinot). This might have covered earlier in the thread. I have been on the Saxum list for a long time. I have accumulated a bunch. I am finding it hard to drink them through. including because of alcohol levels and the need to age them. Despite there stellar ratings they mostly sell below what they cost you....

VGV didn’t actually have a “coupon”. It was a flash sale, communicated via email. Perhaps you should sign up on their list.

I bought one. I had problems lugging my wine check so bought the VGV. I haven’t used—nowhere to go.

1995 Peter Michael Point Rouge: one of the best Californian chardonnays I have had. Everything you could want. Still could go at least 2-3 years.

1982 Ridge Montebello that I forgot about. Good fill. Cork crumbled but good seal. Unfiltered garnet. Lasted about 5 minutes in the glass, although all drinkable. Nice experiment.

We also stay at the Beacon every trip. We like the fact that the units have kitchens/kitchenettes. Great for coffee and breakfast. There is also a subway stop at 72nd about a block and half away. We might also look at rates after joining their Beacon insider club.

I have 10 (and counting) double mags of Spottswoode cab. I have been saving them for our youngest son’s wedding if and when it happens. We had 6 at our oldest son’s wedding and the crowd went crazy over them.

We really enjoyed a 2005 Araujo Estate CS. Pop and pour. Good from the start. But really opened with decant. Nice mouth feel and layers. Good to go for at least several years.
