Josh, I believe that technically that is Lewes and not Rehoboth Beach? You can ride a bike to that from Rehoboth, though. Sarah, was that Espuma? Anyone else go for the '17 Sorrel Hermitage Le Gréal? I just asked for one. I'm planning to go heavy on '18--but this is nearly a perfect wine. Not sure if it was a deal--but it's so hard to find I went for it. Starting to build a nice vertical.

I didn't have the '16 to compare it too--but the '17 was all red fruit, especially currants on the nose (the label said black cherry and plums). How could someone who thinks papyrus is a good font choice and use those terrible graphics on their labels possibly make good wine? They obviously have terrible taste.

Slightly off topic but I really don't understand why more producers don't do box wine specifically for wine by the glass sales in the restaurant market. There's no possibility of the wine being corked, it's much less prone to oxidation once opened and I have no doubt the packaging and shipping cost...

It's the definition of a Veblen good at this point. They should have boxed it up with Armand de Brignac's Ace of Spades and Napa Stones Wines instead of crappy vintages that didn't sell. Maybe slap a Trump brand on there and spray paint them gold?

I regularly take 3L or even 5L box wines on backpacking trips. Remove the bladder from the box and it can fit in the top flap part of your pack. It goes against every aspect of how you are meant to load a backpack, and the hike in really sucks with the extra weight, but it's pretty nice to have win...

The Great Lakes... region should be making world class wine in the '19 vintage. In spring, we had a ton of rain and it was early with no frosts followed by a hot dry summer.
