There is a difference in selling a bottle or 2 to finance buying the wine versus flipping the whole allocation Honestly not much of a difference. I suspect sharing would not be frowned upon. Winemakers want people to drink their wine, the more the better. Sharing means more people get to and is very different than flipping

So these Rivesaltes have been sitting in barrels undisturbed for decades. They are only recently bottling some of them. I had a 1935 and 1963. Both same as you described. It's how they are now due to recent bottling

Am I the only one here who keeps go vino glasses in his golf bag, beach bag, back pack and trunk. Unbreakable and more than adequate at an unbeatable price. Use it for a tailgate and your last roadie then toss it at the gate. Easy peasy

From my experience drink now or within 5 years. A friend opened a magnum of 2010 Honig Bartolucci vineyard bottling that seemed well past peak. I think these wines are made for early drinking

Great value wine with lots of fruit. A crowd pleaser. They also make a reserve SB that is a nice step up from the regular SB

I bought a 97 Beringer private reserve chardonnay thinking it was the cab for $80. Then they told me it was in China and would cost any additional $70 shipping. +1 on the Chappy Sig Cab. It's available everywhere, always very good, well under $100 and will stay all of those things for a long time. If she likes it, you'll have a go to bottle for life

Did a tasting there with Fred in July 2017. Asked him to open an older Zin as I've been laying them down since 2012 vintage and was interested into what they will become. IIRC he opened an 05 OMV. It was wonderful and would've guessed Bordeaux blend if blind. Hope it shows well for you all
