I think one item needs to be included in your set of variables- Palate Fatigue. Had a 2016 Louis Latour Corton Charlemagne last Thur and it was really delicious, significantly better than the 1er Crus and worthy of a Grand title IMO. Btw, has anyone tried the LL Montrachet? Would they hold their own among other Montrachets?

Did you happen to find out if Paolo Bea has a library of wine available for purchase? I tried a 96 Pagliaro a couple years and absolutely loved it. I'm noticing it's hard to find aged PB, so hoping the next time I'm out that way I can purchase some older bottles with great provenance.

Had the 2012 upon release, absolutely delicious! A very pretty wine and I wish I had purchased more.
Tried the 2013 a few months ago, very closed and muscular. Probably needs another few years, and I suspect will last decades.
Hoping the 2014 is closer to 2012, if so, definitely worth $100 per.
