Re: To Tariff or Not to Tariff

Another consideration is to evaluate your own desire for your return on capital. If, as you sell vintage wines, the demand is fickle to the price (and may frankly question and dismiss a price that is significantly lower than others) then price to your return on capital. Evanluate how long you've had...

Re: To Tariff or Not to Tariff

Prices are naturally downward sticky. You should look at your current inventory and price to replace it at the market cost. I realize this is harder with wine than, say, gasoline. But, the pump reflects the futures price, not the past price. You took the risk. You laid out the captial. You hold the ...

Well, this is how I was taught as a kid - Mayo was simply easier to spread as we kept our butter in the fridge.

As I aged, I retained this model, but also throw a pat of butter in to make sure the best of both worlds can be enjoyed.

On the surface seems logical - but, as I'm not a winemaker, can I ask a question? Why not do it? from the outside it would appear you have risks (capital is applied to a product you cannot sell, or have to sell for a loss)....are those what hold you back from just doing it?

Interesting notes about my Grassl. We’ve now sold over 25,000 of them in our first year of production. Americans are buying 1855’s at a 2:1 ratio over the Liberté. Cru sells at 50% of the Liberté and Mineralité is a very distant 4th with US consumers citing the opening as ‘too narrow’. Europe has th...

I’m unsure why victor’s answer is creating such heated replies. He’s accurate. Zoning laws need to adjust to allow For height and density I don’t think he’s remotely suggesting someone living on a 25/40/160 acre expanse should put up an apartment complex. John,
thanks
quick question, you use "GG", on the board that's typically meant Gabriel Gold, their mouth-blown stem at $55. is that your intent or is that a machine stem by them for $28?

My tasting glass is a 6 units at a time only package
6 = 15/stem / $90/box
12+ is 12.50/stem / $144/box
