Popped another 16 SLD last night and it's even better. Wish I could've found more. Only a few left. Fellow Phoenix area winos please post if & when you see the 17 and try it!

Re: Riverain Reserve. 2016

Offer just came... I'm sorry but I find the label procedure a slight bit condescending. This has nothing to do with the image. I'm sure it's beautiful, but is this a mass market wine in need if capturing the attention of someone at total wine? Did it add to the cost? Is the bottle of normal size or ...

Re: Myriad - Save the Date

Three Twins has been my favorite of Mike's sub-$100 cabs - across all the wines he makes, not just Myriad - pretty much since the first vintage (2008). While I'm sad to see it nudging up against the $100 threshold, it's definitely worth the price. For those who have posted glowing impressions of th...

Tasted with Budman and the three twins is very very good. The napa and steltzner were great as well, but with limited space I only went with the 3 twins. Don't miss out!

Have done a few sales with winebid, 2 smaller and 1 rather large. They make it easy. The one think I would do different, with a large sale, would be to have the lots staggered out, instead of all the same week.

I stopped paying attention to WA state except for QC for years. Just found, for the most part the wines were boring. I've recently started trying them again and have found a few producers I'm now really liking. Avennia, Gramercy and Delille. I find that for me, primarily a cab drinker, they bridge t...
