We had this wine blind during bottling at waxwing a few weeks ago. I don't disagree with your notes except it fits what I expect and like in pinot. This one worked for me.

Pretty much any of the Ridge Zins don't seem to really hit their stride until at least age 20. And then drink well for another 10-20+ years..... 15 year old Ridge zins are still extremely primary and not showing much age at all.

KK is great producer. Her son Marty Mathis is the winemaker and has been for many years. They make 3-4 wines usually. Today for harvest refreshments we ended up tasting through pairs of top 16/17 QPR chardonnay and pinot from some of my favorite OR producers.

Cameron, Goodfellow, Walter Scott and Vincent. To me they all deliver consistently and only the 2016 Richards Cuvee cost more than $25

No Brainer, Order in. I know they get more press about the Chardonnays than anything else but I think their Pinot Noirs are equally exceptional and I have also enjoyed their Gamay as well.

... You can probably get four crops of cannabis per year ... I don't think so. Cannabis depends on change in length of daylight to initiate flowering. So really one crop per year. Here's my note on the 2015. They were having a special when I was at the Red Barn last year for $50 so I picked up a few. At $80 thats getting into something fairly expensive. Rhys, Ceritas, and PYCM can hit the price range and do buy those in small quantities... But seriously I would buy Goodfellow...
