Thomas Pinot 2007 Bottle Variation

Maybe this has been posted before but I have noticed an incredible variation in bottles of this wine. Last night I noticed some sort of tingling sensation on the tongue, stewed strawberry, spoiled cherry. Other bottles have been pretty good. I am glad to be done with this one.

What about taking wine in? I am hearing that it might cost as much as $50/case for good beer. If beer costs that much, wine must be crazy expensive. I agree with Kirk. These are very much in the style of Cayuse with the funk that comes from the Rocks District. They are mineral driven and not the fruity style of some Cali syrahs. I have found that in my circle people love them or they don't. I think they are more like Northern Rhone. I love them.
