Mine finally arrived, after multiple days of 95+ temps here. If I would have known they'd be shipped this late, I wouldn't have ordered. 2009's are still languishing on the shelves here in South Texas for the same price. I check every time I go in...and it's still 2009. I don't think they sell much in the way of higher priced wines here. I ended up ordering some online.

I have had my 1855's for a while now. Wow, I like these a lot! I wish the base was a bit smaller so I could hang them in my wine cabinet, but not a deal breaker at all. My GG's and Reidels haven't seen the light of day since these arrived. Thanks Chris! champagne.gif

I wish they'd let me "stock up" on Blanton's and ER. When it does show up, it's 1 per customer and is usually hidden, so you have to be "in" with the store folks, and even then, it's hit or miss with who you ask. J, you can do it by signing up for Blanton text notifications when it comes in at Bevm...

2002 Pommery "Cuvée Louise" Brut Champagne: Light gold, apple, and toast with very fine bubbles. We enjoyed it, but everyone enjoyed the 2006 Dom from a previous night a lot more.

Finally found some Blanton's at the local WB Liquor store for a more realistic price ($59 vs the $75 and $130 I've seen locally). There were six on the shelf and they let me buy all 6 (3 for me and 3 for a friend who also wanted some, but was at work). Tried some last night and enjoyed it. :)
