Re: Realm Bard 2018

Eh, ‘18 doesn’t come out until October and there are lots of ‘13-‘15 selling on auction for close to release price. I would pick ip some of those to drink now and give the ‘18s a little time to sit. I just got on the list and have picked up recent Bard on KL in the $115-$140 range. I highly recomme...

Well Hundred Acre has gone berserk, and increased pricing on the 2016 Few & Far to $1800 (3 pack). This Napaflation is insane! Why stop at 20%, might as well double it to $3000, then go to up $100 every year like Harlan ans Screagle to soften the blow each vintage. Jeez... 2015 - $1500 2014 - $1200...

I thought the ‘17 was slightly less complex than the ‘16, but we’re really splitting hairs at this point because the ‘16 had a year of age and 5 hrs of air. Not sure how much air Will gave the ‘17. I gave both wines fairly high scores. For those with doubts, don’t buy and regret it later.

I’ve tasted the 2017 EE, Ontogeny, Wildfoote, Sage Canyon and Tench. The Wildfoote was the best early drinker. While they’re not the 2013s or 2016s, they’re no slouches either. Buy with confidence. If you like his wines, you will like his ‘17s.
